MCTS Bus Driver Strike
Due to the strike of the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) Drivers, the Gold Line, Route 79 and all other MCTS routes will not operate until the strike is over. Waukesha Metro Routes, Metrolift, Waukesha County Routes 901, 904/905 and 906 and Route 901 Paratransit service continues to operate as previously scheduled.
For those wishing to travel to/from Milwaukee to/from Brookfield and Waukesha, the Route 901 operated by Wisconsin Coach Lines operates from downtown Milwaukee to Brookfield Square, Goerkes Corners and downtown Waukesha Monday-Friday from 5:15am -7:15pm. Transfers can be made to the Waukesha Metro Route 1 at Brookfield Square and Goerkes Corners and transfers to all Waukesha Metro Routes are available at the Waukesha Metro Transit Center.
