Taxicab and Taxi Driver Licenses

Licenses expire on June 30 of each year.  
The fees are:
$50.00 per year for the first cab
$15.00 per year for each additional cab
$150.00 per year for a taxicab stand* 
*(parking stall) if off street parking facilities are not available

$32.00 per year for each taxi driver (includes record check fee)

Applications are submitted to the Clerk/Treasurer's office.  Our office will forward taxi driver applications to the Police Department for a record check and fingerprinting. Applicants should allow at least 4 days after submitting their application before calling the Police Department at (262) 524-3773 to schedule a time for fingerprints to be completed.

This is regulated by section 8.13 of the Waukesha Municipal Code.
