The project consists of adding auxiliary lanes on the north and south side of the roadway for turning vehicles into private and commercial driveways and installing left turn lanes with several raised medians in the middle of the roadway. The medians will be stamped colored concrete. The old roadway will be removed and a new concrete roadway will be installed. A new traffic signal will be installed at the intersection of Fox River Pkwy. and W. Sunset Dr. Also, the existing traffic signal at the intersection of Oakdale Dr. and W. Sunset Dr. will be modified to incorporate the new access into the Shoppes proposed development.
