Subdivisions/PlatsPlease Note: The Plan Commission requires seven (7) complete collated sets AND 7 reduced copies of all items listed below along with a copy in digital form. One of the seven sets submitted must be colored and rolled. If it is mounted on a board, we will need an extra set that is rolled. They must be full-size sets and must be submitted to the Department of Community Development by 4:00 pm on Tuesday of the week before a Plan Commission meeting in order to be placed on the agenda for that meeting. Introduction: In the City of Waukesha the Subdivision and Platting Ordinance defines a subdivision as a division of 5 or more parcels of 1 ½ acres each or less in area; or if 5 or more parcels of 1 ½ acres each or less in area are created by successive divisions within a period of 5 years; or the division of land into parcels of more than 1 ½ acres involving any new streets or easements of access. All subdivisions must follow the guidelines and requirements put forth in the Subdivision and Platting Ordinance. Fees for review are as follows: Preliminary Plat: $500 plus $10 per lot Final Plat: $300 plus $10 per lot Architechtural Changes do not need preliminary review. Further Information |
