National Night Out 2012

Or as we like to call it - Waukesha Night Out is an event for the whole community.

This event is held annually and is free to the community. It is designed to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
  • Generate support and participation in local anti-crime programs;
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
  • Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

What we have started planning for 2012:

Flight for Life will be stopping by the event from 5 - 6pm (weather & no emergencies permitting).

We will have food; games, activities, and prizes for children; safety / drug information and demonstrations for people of all ages. Supplies are limited.

Date: Wednesday, August 8, 2012.

Time: 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m

Location: Frame Park- Rotary Building Grounds

1150 Baxter St, Waukesha, WI 53186

Station Tours:

Contact Specialist E. Christensen 262-524-3774 to request a station tour.

They are generally held on Tuesday & Thursday Evenings from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m or the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. The tours generally run about 1 hour. We must schedule the tour in advance and must know how many children will be attending prior to the tour. Please do not have children under 5 years of age and younger come along on the tour - we find they do not have the attention span.
