Plumbing License

Must be a licensed plumber.

A homeowner doing their own plumbing work does not need to be licensed if they live in the residence within which the work is being done. They will need to obtain a plumbing permit however.

It is customary for the plumbing inspector to interview the homeowner to determine if the person doing the work is capable of doing all work according to State and City plumbing codes.
