The Plan Commission requires seven (7) complete collated sets of all items listed below along with a copy in digital form. One of the seven sets submitted must be colored and rolled. If it is mounted on a board, we will need an extra set that is rolled. They must be full-size sets and must be submitted to the Department of Community Development by 4:00 pm on Tuesday of the week before a Plan Commission meeting in order to be placed on the agenda for that meeting.

The Plan Commission also Reviews the following:

• Airport Hangars
• Wireless Communications – Towers/Antennas
• Street Vacations – Residents wishing to have a street or portion of a street vacated must follow the procedure specified in SS66.1003 of the Wisconsin statutes. Residents should submit 7 copies of the survey and/or legal description of the portion of the street to be vacated along with an explanation of the reasons behind the request, an application for review and the $150 fee. The Plan Commission will make a recommendation to the Common Council. The Common Council will then review the request and either approve or deny the request. A public hearing may be held if the petition does not include all the property owners on the street to be vacated. Please contact the Planning Department for more information regarding the procedure to be followed.
• House Moves – Applicants should bring in 7 copies of the surveys showing the new location and placement of the house on the new lot along with photos of the house to be moved. An application for review and the $150 fee should also be included. Following Plan Commission approval the applicant must also receive approval from the Public Works Board to move the house on city streets.
