Saturday, JULY 4TH

"Music in America" PARADE

Cutler Park, 321 Wisconsin Avenue

  10:00 am Line-Up at Cutler Park
  10:15 am Children's Marching & Float Judging
  11:00 am Parade begins

PARADE ROUTE: Parade begins at the corner of Maple & Wisconsin Avenues (Cutler Park), travels west on Wisconsin, turns right at West Ave. & follows Main St. east thru downtown Waukesha, turns left on Buckley, turns right on Baxter and finishes at Frame Park.

 

Participation
Children will have an opportunity to participate in the parade by decorating their bikes, trikes, buggies, wagons, and themselves! Check the website for more details. Bike helmets are strongly recommended. Groups and families are encouraged to enter floats in the parade that reflect the theme "Music in America" and meet the minimum standards. Entry forms and standards can be found at www.ci.waukesha.wi.us/parks. Deadline to register is Friday, June 5, 2015.

Application

Free Ice Cream for children in the parade distributed by Waukesha Kiwanis Early Risers at Schuetze Recreation Center at conclusion of Parade.

 

Fireworks – 9:30 pm
Presented by Woodman's Markets.


The Independence Day celebration
concludes with a bang!


Bring your blankets and chairs to the Waukesha County Expo Center, 1000 Northview Rd., Waukesha. Grounds will open at 7:00 p.m. with the show beginning at approximately 9:30 p.m. Due to the extensive ground show, the fireworks are best viewed from the Expo grounds.
Rain date: July 5. Please note: Pets, carry-in fireworks (including sparklers), and alcoholic beverages are NOT ALLOWED.
