Hobo
During the Springs Era, there were two springs in what is now Frame Park. Orchard, sometimes called Ashahal, was a fancy spring, with concentric stone steps leading down to the water basin at the bottom. Orchard was eventually filled in and is currently the Formal Gardens. The other spring in Frame Park still survives.
Hobo Spring was restored to it’s original condition in 1997. There had been a little wading pool that had been buried in the 70s to make it easier to maintain. Some old photographs provided clues to the original shape, with some donation money and hard work, the restoration was completed.
