Conducts inspections of new construction or remodeling of existing structures relative to plumbing, heating and ventilating equipment for compliance with codes, ordinances and statutes.

Required: High school graduation or equivalent with two to three years trades training plus State of Wisconsin Plumber’s License and Commercial Plumbing Inspector and Commercial Building Inspector credentials. Preferred: Multiple certifications such as State of Wisconsin UDC-Construction Inspector, UDC-Electrical Inspector and Commercial Building Inspector. Must have a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and an excellent driving record.

 Required: High school graduation or equivalent with five to six years experience in the general knowledge of construction methods and techniques, building codes, ordinances, and statutes for residential and commercial property regarding plumbing, heating and ventilating equipment, electrical and construction. Preferred: Multiple certifications such as State of Wisconsin UDC-Construction Inspector, UDC-HVAC Inspector, UDC-Electrical Inspector, UDC-Plumbing Inspector and Commercial Building Inspector. MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST - Electrical/HVAC
Parks, Recreation and Forestry

Performs various building construction and maintenance duties including electrical, heating/ventilation/air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing work that does not require a plumbing license or could be done under licensed supervision, janitorial, and carpentry with special emphasis on electrical and HVAC duties as permitted by a Journeyman Electrician License and EPA Section 608 Universal (refrigerant handling) certification.

Required: High school graduation or equivalent with one (1) year of related maintenance experience. Must possess and maintain a minimum of a Journeyman Electrician License. Must obtain and maintain within one (1) year of hire an EPA Section 608 Universal (refrigerant handling) Certification. Must obtain within six (6) months of hire and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License with B and C endorsements. Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with an excellent driving record. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical with drug screen.

Hourly rate - $25.35

Parks, Recreation and Forestry

Performs various building/facility construction and maintenance duties requiring special emphasis and experience and skills in any of the following five (5) areas: plumbing, janitorial, electrical, carpentry or pool facility maintenance.

Required: High school graduation or equivalent with minimum six (6) months of related maintenance experience. Must possess and maintain within one (1) year of hire an Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification. Must obtain and maintain within six (6) months of hire a Commercial Driver’s License with B and C endorsements. Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with an excellent driving record. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical with drug screen.

4K TEACHER - Part-Time

Job Description: The Certified 4K Teacher provides a safe and nurturing environment for children that encourage their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. The teacher plans and implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum following Wisconsin Model for Early Leaning Standard, City of Waukesha Parks, Recreation and Forestry and School District of Waukesha policies and procedures. They also maintain positive relationship with parents, children coworkers and community partners.

Qualifications: Instructor must have one of the following Department of Public Instruction licenses: 080: Pre-Kindergarten, 083: Pre-Kindergarten – Grade 3, 086: Pre-Kindergarten – Grade 6, 090: Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten, 100: Kindergarten, 108: Kindergarten – Grade 8, 088: Pre-Kindergarten – Grade 8, 106: Kindergarten – Grade 6, 70-777: Regular Education – Early Childhood level, 71-777 Regular Education – Early Childhood – Middle Childhood level

COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER (CLC) PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Job Description: The CLC Coordinator assists in the planning, coordination and supervision of the 21st Century Community Learning Center’s programs, activities and staff. The CLC Coordinator provides leadership and an efficient and safe operation for the Community Learning Center.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in the following skills: Leadership, Decision-Making, Planning, Organization and Communication.  Willingness to work irregular hours, shifts, or weekends as required.  Experience in supervising others preferred, but not required.  Ability to communicate, be courteous and cooperate with other staff members and the public.  Ability to lead, plan, organize and implement program activities.  Ability to accomplish tasks with indirect supervision.  Enthusiastic personality and willingness to adapt to unforeseen circumstances.  Previous experience in afterschool or camp-related setting desirable, but not required.

College/university graduate with training in recreation, education or related area desirable, but not required.

Bilingual in Spanish desirable, but not required.
