How can I get a license for my business?

The answer to this would depend on the type of business. The Clerk/Treasurer's Office issues specific licenses such as taxi cab business, billiard, dance hall, etc. If the business did not require any license from the Clerk's office, the individual would be directed to the Building Department (Community Development) for an occupancy permit, and the Wisconsin Department of Revenue for a seller's permit.
