Non-Water Based System PermitsThe City of Waukesha Fire Department requires that all non-water based automatic extinguishing systems receive a full plans review before such a system can be installed in any location within the City of Waukesha. These systems include, but are not limited to, Halon Systems, Carbon Dioxide Systems, Dry Chemical Systems, and other systems that can be utilized in commercial and industrial occupancies for the purposes of protecting cooking appliances, computers, telecommunication systems, or other things do not interface well with water. This form must be submitted, along with the system plans and other required information prior to any system being installed within the City of Waukesha. This plans review is necessary in order to ensure that all fire protection systems are designed and installed in accordance with any applicable codes and standards.
