Checklist For Airport Hangar
Seven (7) complete collated regular sets of all items listed below and seven reduced copies must be submitted to the Planning Department by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday of the week before a Plan Commission meeting in order to be placed on the agenda for that meeting.
- A completed "Application for Review" Plan Commission form.
- An indication that the Airport Commission has approved the plans.
- An overall plan of the Airport showing the exact location of the parcel in relationship to surrounding hangers, runways, taxiways, and public rights-of-way. at a scale no smaller than 1 inch - 400 feet.
- Detailed and labeled architectural views of all four sides of the building.
- Detailed information on any exterior lighting.
- Color samples for the building materials.
- Detailed site plan at a minimum scale of 1 inch = 30 feet showing:
- Areas that will be paved
- Areas that will be landscaped
- Type of landscaping
- Location of any utilities, include sanitary sewer, water, gas, telephone, electric.
- Spot grades and contours in sufficient detail to show how drainage will be handled.
- Location of exterior light fixtures.
- Detailed dimensions showing building size and setbacks from all lot lines, taxiways, runways, and public rights-of-way
- Detailed building plans including floor plans, roof plans, foundation and structural plans, showing type of construction, dimensions, materials, and other specifications.
- A $300 plan review fee.
- Copy of final approved plan signed by County must be submitted to the Community Development department along with appropriate fees, application, etc.
