CHIEF BUILDING INSPECTOR
Community Development Department
Under the general direction of the Director of Community Development, this position manages and supervises all inspection functions related to the enforcement of municipal building codes and housing improvement program including supervision of building inspection. Provides City wide inspection services for all forms of residential, industrial and commercial new and/or rehabilitated construction, sets and collects fees and issues permits in accordance with code, ordinance and statute requirements.
Required: Two years course work in structural engineering, architecture or architectural engineering or a relevant field with four years of increasingly responsible experience in construction supervision, building inspection, plan checking, civil engineering, surveying or similar fields or combination of training and experience. (A bachelors degree may be substituted for one year of experience). Certification in the State of Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code for Construction, Electrical, Plumbing and Energy HVAC and Commercial Certification of HVAC and Construction. Preferred: Architectural license.
Must have a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and an excellent driving record.

POLL WORKERS - 2014 GENERAL ELECTION - NOVEMBER 4, 2014
County residents are needed to work the polls. Full or half day shifts available. Poll workers are compensated for working and attending training sessions.

TOBOGGAN RUN ATTENDANTS
Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department
The City of Waukesha Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department is accepting applications for Toboggan Run Attendants for the winter season. Attendants are responsible for operations, safety and overall usage of the toboggan runs located at Lowell Park, 2200 Michigan Avenue. Attendants must be 18 years of age to work in concession area and the toboggan runs.
Hours of operation are Saturdays, Noon to 4:00 pm and Sunday, Noon to 4:00 pm. Tentative start date is December 20st. All specific hours to be worked are dependent on weather conditions.
